Simply combine a reagent to say a hat, then it adds more stats to it.
For example, take cat tails and combine it with a guardian helmet to add +2 damage% with all school spells
but there's a catch: do that and it takes 100 gold, 3 energy points, and it has a chance it might fail and nothing will happen, you lose the cat tails but keeps the clothing
plus you can only enhance a article of clothing a certain amount of times
Example: guardian helmet can only be enhanced 10 times
