Labyrinth Garbage

Just got in Labyrinth. Trying to do the L48 Myth Orthus quest and all the Labyrinth ones as well. Killed up to point where I get into the tower for Orthus (main quest was for Gallium Paladin).

Finished boss for Myth quest. Ported to house, talked to Cyrus, ran (with mount) over to Nightside, ported to house, went to Cyrus, took World Gate to Mooshu, hit Anicent Burial Grounds, ported to house, went to Cyrus, and went back to Labyrinth via Mark I'd set. Entire time from when I left Labyrinth until I was back, maybe 10-15 minutes.

Imagine the JOY that exploded all over my face when I got back to Labyrinth and everyone of the bridges is no longer accessible . I'd pray that I'm just missing something but of course it takes forever to get these actually viewable so there's no way I'm staying there. and awake, for 1-2 days moving around so I don't get logged off.

NICE!!! So now I'll go back outside, wait 30 minutes or so, and have the fortune of going back and doing the same things I've already done, just to get back to where I was.

It isn't just a time limit. If you leave a dungeon, and you pick up or work on another quest, it resets the dungeon.

Just another note...the comments below were in the "Player's Guide":

"Dungeons are personal adventures. They must be completed to get full credit. Logging out, leaving through the Dungeon entrance, or going to another dungeon will reset the Dungeon you started. Going to a PvP match or going to your Castle or Dorm room will reset the dungeon. Leaving any other way gives you 30 minutes to return before it resets. Up to four people at a time can be in an Dungeon."

Sorry... :(

I don't know if this will make you feel any better. It didn't make me feel very well at all...

I had finished the Labyrinth on my myth wizard as part of the storyline, but in the middle of it I had levelled up to 48 and got the message to see Cyrus Drake.

So, "after I finished" the Labyrinth, I went to see Cyrus Drake and guess what! He gave me my Level 48 quest which took me back to the Labyrinth!

So, "after I finished the Labyrinth up to the point where I got what I needed for my Level 48 quest" (which was about 3/4 of the way through the Labyrinth), I went to Cyrus Drake and got my Level 48 spell.

Then I continued the storyline, and I got the Obsidian Chest quest from Ashley. Guess where the last Obsidian Chest is! It's in the Labyrinth in the room with the Dean. (This is the point where "I'm not feeling too well at all".)

This was my first time reaching Level 48 with a myth wizard, so for all of you coming up on this any time soon, this is just a "heads up". Next time I will know what is coming and be ready to plan a little better.

Thanks for the head's up! I'll know that for my myth wizard when she gets up that way. Life has the same kind of quest in there but it's a different boss. Just to let all you life wizards know. I did that one twice because I waited until I was ready for that quest.

Smart move. A good way to check to see what your wizards are looking at for level 48 spell quests, if you have not done so, is to go to wizard101central.com and do a search for the quest. Then plan your questing to make sure your wizard will be at that level before entering an area the will require you to do it at least 2 times. That way you can avoid and additional run in that area unless you want to do it for additional drops.

I did this with my life and balance wizards since I had already made the mistakes with my fire wizard. My balance wizard did not even enter Celestia until level 52, but I completed everything including Grizz and working on a few badges. Granted, there is very little xp given for most badge battles, but every little bit adds up. If you have not done Kensington Park, the Tomb of the Beguiler, Youkai in the Tree of Life, ( all of these give badges) then there is some decent xp to gain. These are just a few that can be done to help get that wizard where you want it.

BTW, the other way you can do this - at least if you have two accounts or a family member with an account - is to have someone "hang out" in the completed dungeon while you do the other quests. Then port back to them in the completed dungeon when you need and you're good to go!

I kept forgetting that the obsidian chest quest follows shortly after the first labyrinth quest and kept having to redo the labyrinth. But finally remembered on my last wizard and had my son do the quest with me. He hung out in the labyrinth while I completed what I needed to.

And thanks for the heads up on the myth level 48 spell!

That's a good idea. I do have another account with wizards high enough to do the Labyrinth. I didn't even think about using one of them to help. Thanks again! :D

Yeah, that's what I was going to say, Honeybee313.
