It happened out of the blue..one day it's working fine then nothing.

It was stuck patching at the log in screen. I un-installed and re-installed the game 3 times. Finally, it went through. Now...I get on my 41 wizard and cant' get into Shitaki Palace it's stuck on something called zone3_ cliffside palace.

It's been about a week now that I can't play and I really don't like paying for a product I can't use. I've already tried all the solutions that you provide in the help section. Why are these patches suddenly taking so long?

I had a similar problem with another game I had played.

When you uninstall, go into your program files and make sure there is nothing left of the game remaining before you re-install. A search can turn everything up for you, too. Delete anything you find and reboot.

For some reason, having any bits of old files can mess up a clean install of the game.

I get this problem frequently because my security software senses changes to a program accessing the internet and does not "like" the new wizard client. Usually granting "permission" (*sigh again! ;) resolves the issue, but sometimes it does not. This works for me.

While in Internet Explorer, not connected to Wizard101 ...

1. Hit CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE to clear your browsing history.
2. Turn PC off ... power down ... do not "restart".
3. Power-up the PC and re-try.

Hope it helps.
