Recently, there has been a new spell called Forest Lord. It it an AoE and is very powerful when boosted with Lifeblade and Spirit Blades. You can get this spell when you are level 58 when you go to see Moolinda Wu and you complete her quest. Hope this helps!
Because they have a level 48 spell that targets all team-mates, as well as a lower level version of it that does the same. Life is focused on healing, not attacking. It can't have everything, although as said, at level 58 you get a nice spell.
