losing a PVP match should not affect rank

I think that in PVP if people lose a match they should have to lose their rank too.

Um, your post actually is opposite of your subject line. People do lose rank if they lose at PVP. You lose a lot more points when you lose than gain when you win. It could take a wizard 2,3 or more ranked wins to gain enough points back to recover and rank back up from 1 loss.

Personally, I think think that you lose way too many points when you lose and dont get enough for winning. Not to fair to lose 24 points in 1 battle and then gain only 4 back from a win, but again thats the challenge of PVP.

I agree completely! Let me tell you, I am absolutely atrocious at PvP, so my rank is below 300. :( It would make a bit more sense to lose LESS points when you lose than when you win. Perhaps, losing half of what the winning opponent gains? :)
