This error occurs usually as a result of the video settings not being correctly set. Please attempt both solutions - if you continue to receive error, please contact Mr. Lincoln by submitting a ticket to support@wizard101.com

1) Make sure your Hardware Acceleration is set to Full

Open the Display Properties in the Control Panel.
Click the Settings tab, click Advanced, and then click the Troubleshooting tab.
Drag the Hardware Acceleration slider to the right (Full).
Click Apply/OK and then click OK again.
Restart the computer.

2) If the above doesn't work, please make sure your video drivers are updated.

It's very easy (but takes several steps to figure out what it is):

A. Determine the manufacturer of your video card > Open your control panel, click on "Display" > "Settings" tab > "Advanced" > "Adapter" > "Properties" > "Driver" tab.

B. Write down the Driver Provider and Driver Version.

C. Go to the driver manufacturer's website and locate your particular computer and download the newest driver (you can check the latest driver they post with the driver version you have, if it's the same, then don't bother with the download - likely they've come out with a new one since last you updated though).

After updating the driver, reboot your computer and hopefully, all is right in Wizard City!

PS: You can bypass all this by sending us a dxdiag & we'll determine your driver and send you the link to update if necessary:

To create a dxdiag.txt just go to Start -> Run (or Search in Vista) and enter dxdiag and click OK. Once the program has run it's course, click "Save all Information" and it will output a txt file that you can attach to your email.

Some of the common video drivers (** Some laptop and even proprietary desktop manufacturers do not recommended or support driver updates from the video driver manufacturer's websites. Please refer to the computer manufacturer's website first (where applicable) for information pertaining to video driver updates. ):
