You would craft two ingredents to make food. Craft two food together to get a powerful "Special". It would require mana to craft. Lots of it!

Salad-Rank 3 Life- + 15% All Healing Spells [(Cook Lettuce + Veggies = Salad) A Food Item]

Strawberry-Bannana Smoothie- Rank 6 Ice- +10% Power, Accuracy, & Resist- NO PvP (Cook Strawberry + Bannana = Strawberry-Bannana Salad) + (Cook Ice + Yogurt = Smoothie) = Strawberry-Bannana Smoothie, A Special Food Item!

Also one you make food items, you can trade them ,by using enegy, with other people!

ALSO (Yes, There's more) You will go up 8 ranks, Like Gardening:

Novice Cook
Neophyte Cook
Apprentice Cook
Jorneyman Cook
Mangus Cook
Master Chef
Grandmaster Chef
Legendary Chef
Might be kinda complicated but wouldn't it be great?!
