house guards

I think there should be guards for your house like fire cats or samurai cows and you could duel them to make them better. and if you have a setting on our something every once and a while somebody would come and attack your castle. And if they are not fighting they are walking a round so you can talk to them for comments on quest or other things like sales. Then the castle wouldn't feel so empty. What do you think.

this has been brought up many times since the first release of castles
while it does seem like a cool idea they could really only be for show
