Can someone please tell me why I pay a monthly subscription to this game, but cannot get into some areas of the game. If you have a monthly subscription, there should not be anywhere that you cannot go. I cannot finsh the smiths quest cause I cannot get on to cyclops lane . Why is this.
Wizard101 is a story based game. You must complete the assignments (quests) you have been given before you can progress in to different areas.
A subscription purchases time in the game. Once you have earned access to areas through questing and completing assignments, you can access them as long as you are subscribed.
Once you have completed your assignments in Unicorn Way, Merle will ask you to progress into other areas of Wizard City.
Once you have completed all your required assignments in Wizard City, Merle Ambrose will ask you to investigate Krokotopia.
Once you have been given that quest, you can access the Spiral door by entering Bartleby the World Tree.
After you’ve completed Krokotopia, you can move on to Marleybone, then MooShu, then Dragonspyre. You can visit Grizzleheim at level 5, but cannot return until level 20.
If you want the prize, you have to build the ladder rung by rung. There are no shortcuts.
