You know when you have one sword but wish the aura around it was a different color, or want it just to look different?
Or when you have armor that you wish could look just a bit better? Or even give it an aura of its own!?
With metal work, you could do that and more, its like crafting just easier cause you could use gear that you dont want or cant use as materials, so if you wanted something like the thanes tunic that has all the fur on it, you could use 3 of those to make a tunic with more fur on it.
You could also start to build technology, T.v, blasters just for fun with your friends, walk ways to go up walls like in the big KT house to get from beginning to the cliff.
