Do you have a high level wizard? Do you hate their hair style or colour? I do. My Balance wizard, Who is now level 80, Has very short hair, and it's green.. I think Kingsisle would make alot of money if they added this feature to the game.
The feature would be in the dye shop, and an option to have a 'haircut' and an option to dye your hair. To take a 'haircut' it would cost 50 crowns. To dye your hair, it would cost 25 crowns.
I think this would help not just me, but any wizard in the spiral who wants to change their hair colour.
Thanks for reading.

This has been posted over and over and over and over again. Yes, we would like it. No, KI hasn't done it yet.
Thanks

My question is, what if you don't have the funds to buy Crowns? Plus, it's just the hair. I'd like it if the cost would start at about ohh, 2,000 gold? Then, as you save up, you could make the style more exquisite.

Example, you want a certain style, but you only have 2,500 gold. The whole style costs 10,000 gold. (Trust me, if you sell at the Bazaar ONLY 10k is REALLY easy to get.) then, you can get the first "stage" of your hairstyle. The first stage would be more or less simple. (An average braid, pigtails, hair that makes you look like you just woke up, etc.) Now, let say you save and save, and eventually you have 9,000 gold. The next stage costs about 6,000 gold. So, you get the next stage, which is a touch more complicated (A french braid, long pigtails with whisps of hair of the side, slightly spiked hair, etc.) and you have gold to spare. Now, you save some more and finally you get 15,000 gold. Now you can get the final stage of the style, (A braid winding around one's head and ending trailing over the shoulder, pigtail french braids with ribbons wound in, a mowhawk etc.)

That was longer than intended O.o, the color change would be about, 500 gold.

It says clearly on the FAQs that the hair, school and face of a character cannot be changed. So I doubt they will open a hair salon.

Yes, this topic has come up so many times that I think the Mods have lost count. If I remember correctly, Professor Greyrose had addressed this issue in the past. The styles that KI has set up for creating your wizards are permanent. Once you create your wizard, the only way to change anything about its appearance other than gear, is to delete the wizard or create a new one.

You can do a search on Hair styles and you will see that this topic has popped up as far back as Sept., 2009 at least.

The wizard you have created is what is stored on KI servers. It has been stated in the past that KI has no plans to allow ingame changes in the characteristics.

Exactly! Just today I sent KI a message saying, I regret my eyes. They said to post it here. I totally want to change my hair color and eyes! I totally would play this game so much more often. Thank you!

hi i'm new to the message boards (not to the game) and although you've probably seen tons of threads like this i just thought these were some cool ideas.
Hairstyles
For girls i was thinking a braid with either 2 braid along the back or one depending on the style picked. also orange hair like they guys have because many girls (including me) have that color hair. Also a bun would be nice. A ponytail with buns also.
Guys
I personally like the guys hair and think that thats fine but if you have any ideas or criticizem for me id love to hear it

Yes, there have been MANY threads started about this. The only way something like this will happen is if KI changes the styles in the original creation of the wizard. What you create is what is stored on the servers and KI is not planning on implementing a Beauty salon into the game. It would create too much data sooner or later that would have to be purged which in turn will cause other problems.

This kind of topic has been brought countless times as far back to at least Sept. 2009. Professor Greyrose did respond to this at one point and stated that once you create your wizard the only way to change it if you don't like it, is to delete it and create a new one.

Yes, I did understand what you meant. But it still boils down to the same idea. This is something that KI is not going to do. There are too many things that can go wrong.

If you will take a look at the following link, the topic is "New Face?"
I gave a few reasons things like this will not be implemented into the game.

https://www.wizard101.com/posts/list/49650.ftl

I also stated that Professor Greyrose has addressed this topic in the past and stated that this is not something that KI is ever planning to add. The only way to change your current wizard is to delete it and start over.

What those of you may want to do is suggest to KI to add more styles to the character creation page, but you also have to remember that what you create is permanent until deleted.

I think wizard101 should get like a place to change your face, eyes, mouth, etc. '
Can wizard101 get like a barber shop? You can pay like in crowns? Idk.. But can you people think about it? Idk how many people would agree with me but, wizard101 really needs it. :D

P.s My name on wizard101 Is Olivia IceDreamer level 22? or 23.. Idk :D

Hey I was wondering if anyone has ever thought of having a shop where you can change your hair(style/color) to be more personalized.

I know this probably hasnt happened to anyone else but I made a character and unknowingly made his hair have a ponytail. I really dont want this hairstyle anymore and I dont think deleting a level 72 just because of the hair is a good idea...

Anyways tell me what'cha think.

I think it's a great idea. I remember always liking that option when I played WoW. Keeping the same hair style and color indefinitely is very boring. As someone who loves change, I would be so happy to see this in-game! :D

I did this idea once, and i will LOVE for it to happen. But all KI does is say: Put a hood on, or make another character. And i don't see anything wrong with it, even for crowns.

Yeah, why is this such a problem? Every other online game I've been in provides a useful appearance changing area. I made my eyes purple so when someone looks my way they think I'm a girl. It is quite strange getting gifts and receiving messages in The Commons from boys asking for a girl. My name being Dakota doesn't help the least bit... X_X

I don't think it's going to happen due to the programming and the fact that your character would change completely (not just with new gear).

RavenLady, Thank you. I thought about doing this same thing. I am not sure how far back you went, but I know this topic comes up every few months. Of course, I always post the same link from Zeke.

KI has set this limit because the wizard you create is what is stored on the servers. If you start making random changes to that wizard, you risk corrupting the file on the server and your own computer. If your wizard gets lost somewhere along the way, it would be next to impossible for KI to track it once the changes have been made. You can do 1 of 2 things:

1. Leave that wizard where it is and create a new one.
2. Delete that wizard and create a new one.

I will tell you that if you choose to delete the wizard, you will want to create the new one first and transfer all items that are transferrable from the original to the new one before deleting the old. There are some items including houses you can not transfer.

Many many players have suggested for a Hair Salon over the years.

I don't know why KI doesn't see it as money maker, it could cost crowns for every hair style or color.

I think this is the best idea ever! :-o .... Either way we needed more hairstyles! This would earn them a lot more money! (and be very cool for us to get new hairstyles to try ) I hope they consider it! I agree 100%
