I just started in Colossus Ave and keep getting kicked off for failure to connect. Also, when I tried to fight the colossus in the Ice tower in Ravenwood, the battle happens but there is no mob to fight. I can't use any spells except those that affect me.

This isn't making me happy.

I'm feeling your pain at the moment. Only I'm not getting on at all. I was playing just fine earlier today and now when I try to log in it goes to the loading screen and sends me an error. I even reinstalled the game to see if that would fix it. No dice. The sucky part is that meanwhile my subscription is still going on.

We have the tech support you need, but we need more information from you!

If you have any questions or concerns regarding game or account matters, please send an email to: support@wizard101.com. Please include your account username and a DxDiag.

A DxDiag is a utility designed to display the specifications of the user's hardware, as well as to test DirectX software, including sound and video. If you are asked for this information in an email, it helps the support group relate your gaming issue to your personal computer.

To create a dxdiag.txt just go to Start -> Run (or Search in Vista) and enter dxdiag and click OK. Once the program has run its course, click "Save all Information" and it will output a txt file that you can attach to your email.

If you want the prize, you have to build the ladder rung by rung. There are no shortcuts.

Thanks for the reply, Zeke!

I sent all the information, DxDiag file and everything to tech support yesterday 8/8/10 at 3:41 pm.

The weird thing is, I can play my toons from my son's computer which is hooked up to the same router as mine. I'm running Vista, he is running XP. My son is having NO issues with the game, just me.

I'm hoping to hear from tech support today.

It has been two weeks for me. My son gets in fine on the same computer. Unable to connect to server. Even if I do get in the game, it will not let me go anywhere. Just says that area is closed right now. Did a Dxdiag file. No problems were found. Will send a support ticket to KingsIsle today.

coffeegod,

Good luck, I'm having same problem (2 computers working fine in my house, 1 will not connect at all). I sent my DxDiag on 2-Aug and have not gotten any help yet.

I feel your pain!!!
