Specialized classes.

I had this idea of specialized classes: At level __, you can choose 2 classes.
Examples:
Storm: Water (Defensive) and Thunder (Offensive)
Fire: Ashes (Defensive/AoT) and Fire (Offensive)
Ice: Ice (Defensive) and Snow (Offensive)
Balance: Elemental and spiritual (Both all-arounds, decides type of spells)
Life: Plants (Defensive/Healing) and Animals (Offensive)
Death: Leach (Defensive/Life stealing) and Skull (Offensive)
Myth: Minions (Defensive/Self-explanatory) and Gods (Offensive/AaT)

AaT = invented word meaning Attack all Targets :D

This could bring diversity and would make players able to play in their own way.

You never even reasoned what these new "specialized classes" would do. To me these seem pointless because every school is capable of attacking and defending.

Um, that's why we different schools, for example sotrm is offensive while ice is defensive. This really wouldn't work because storm in not meant to be defensive just as ice isn't meant to be offensive.
