ok I looking to know what is the spell triangle. In other words what type works best against another school. Example Ice spells work against fire what about the others
Ice and Fire, like you mentioned are opposites. Life and Death, Myth and Storm are also opposing forces. Balance is in the middle, to balance them all, though you will find creatures of Balance are weaker to the non-elemental schools, Myth, Death and Life.
If you want the prize, you have to build the ladder rung by rung. There are no shortcuts.
Life, Death, and Myth are the spiritual schools. Life spells deal more damage to Death school creatures. Death spells deal more damage to Life creatures.
Fire, Ice and Storm are the elemental schools. Fire spells deal more damage to Ice creatures. Ice spells deal more damage to Fire creatures
Myth spells deal more damage to Storm creatures. Storm spells deal more damage to myth creatures.
Life, Death, and Myth will deal more damage to a balance creature. Balance spells that deal balance type damage will not hit any creature harder than normal. There are balance spells that deal Fire, Ice, and/or Storm damage to creatures.
If you hit a creature with a spell from it's own school it will take less damage than normal. Balance may have two spells that are an exception to this, I am not sure.
