You have to do the mossback quest in order or mossback will not offer a new quest in the other parts of mooshu.

The starting point for the Mossback quest starts in Cave of Solitude.

Here is the Order to do these side quest for Mossback, Wavebringer, and Oakheart.

In Order:

1) Mossback - Cave of Solitude

2) Mossback - Kishibe Villiage

3) Mossback - Shirataki Temple - (Fight Wavebringer)

4) Mossback - Ancient Burial Grounds

5) Wavebringer - Village of Sorrows

6) Oakheart - Tree of Life

7) Talk to Mossback, Wavebringer, Oakheart at the Jade palace


you will recieve a Badge, and Complete the quest.
