Can the Spirit and Life Blades be combined in one attack?

I.e. if I cast both, and then fired an attack of 100, would the damage be 175?

yes, this is called stacking blades. you can also do this with traps.

Yes. Any blades that is not exactly the same card can be stacked with other useful blades that aren't exactly the same.

The same can be done with traps and shields.

yes that is how it is supposed to work but it also depends on the order you cast them I think so if you cast 25% spirit blade then a 30% life blade on a 100pt attack it should look something like this...

100 x 125% = 125
125 x 130% = 162

so as long as the offending denizen doesn't have any resistance, weakness, or extra bonus on your clothing you would do around 162 points of damage

Yes, these do stack...

100 x 1.40 x 1.35 = 189

if you add in spirit trap and life trap:

100 x 1.40 x 1.35 x 1.25 x 1.30 = 307

you do not add bonuses, you apply them one after the other.

note: resistances follow the same applications, for example a tower shield with a death shield and a tower shield:

100 x 0.20 (death dam let through) x 0.50 (tow shld dam let through) = 10
