Crafting for a friend

Can you make a crafting item and give it to a friend? and if not why is there a question in speed chat that says Can i craft something for you? Just curious and thanks in advance for any answers :)

The only items that can be traded between two Wizards on separate accounts are Treasure Cards, and you can craft Treasure Cards for your friend.
